The Ecology Youth Corps (EYC) summer jobs are made possible through the Waste Reduction, Recycling, and Model Litter Control Act. Applicants must be 14 years old on or before their first day of work. All Applications will accepted until 5:00p.m Friday April 3, 2017. -Application (Online or Paper)

AVID
AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) is a college readiness system designed to increase the number of students who enroll in four-year colleges. The AVID elective class targets students in the academic middle who have the desire to go to college and the willingness to work hard. Students learn organization and study skills, work on critical thinking and asking probing questions, get academic help from peers and college tutors, and participate in motivational activities that make college seem attainable. The ideal AVID candidate meets the following criteria:

College Bound
College Bound is a Scholarship program that encourages students who might not consider college because of the cost, to dream big and continue their education beyond high school. The Scholarship is an early commitment of state financial aid to eligible students who sign up in middle school and fulfill the Pledge. You should apply if you are in 7th or 8th grade and meet one of the following requirements: Click Here for EMS College Bound Scholarship
- Qualify for the free or reduced price lunch program
- Receive basic food or TANF benefits
- Are in foster care or a dependent of the state
- Meet certain income requirements (see website or talk with your Counselor)
