Captain Thomas Grego was in the United States Army for 11 years and retired as First Sergeant in charge of training new recruits. He led operations “Enduring Freedom” in Afghanistan and “Restore” in Haiti. He’s the proud recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Liberty University, he joined West Richland Police Department. In this episode, Captain Grego talks about his service and sacrifice in the military with Wildcat Nation. Later, Macey joins Brielle and Audrey to reflect on Veterans Day, the National Anthem, and the character of a war hero.
