Things that you talk about with your counselor are considered CONFIDENTIAL. This means what you say stays between you/counselor. The only exception to confidentiality is for safety reasons (harm to self, harm to another person, or someone is harming you).
Meet your Counselors:
Mrs. Corbin (A-K) 967-6206
Mrs. Corbin works with students whose last names begin with the letters A-K. She's a Washington State University graduate. Go Cougs!! She's worked in the Richland School District for 20 years and at Enterprise Middle School since it opened. She loves cheering on her 3 awesome kids in soccer, baseball, basketball and track. She also enjoys attending Cougar football games and camping with her family. Mrs. Corbin is an advocate for students and loves helping kids pursue their goals and dreams. She's always eager to support EMS students and parents in any way possible as they take this journey through middle school.
Mr. Appel (l-z) 967-6207
Mr. Appel works with students whose last name begin with the letters L-Z. Since graduating from Central Washington University, Mr. Appel has worked in the Richland School District for the past 17 years and at Enterprise Middle School since it opened. In addition, he's a member of the American School Counselors Association (ASCA). He enjoys watching the Big Bang Theory, Chicago Bears football and the LA Lakers. His hobbies include traveling with his wife to the beach, playing with his 2 adorable dogs, and learning card tricks. Mr. Appel is passionate about EMS and believes all students can be successful. He looks forward to helping EMS students, parents, and staff have a terrific year!
